The Thompson-Nicola Regional District is situated on the unceded, ancestral lands of the Nlaka’pumux, Secwépemc, St’at’imc, and Syilx Nations. There are more than 100 First Nations communities and organizations in the Thompson and Nicola regions, including Indian Bands, Nations, Tribal Councils, and support organizations.

The Thompson-Nicola Film Commission can best assist productions wishing to film on First Nations reserves and lands governed by First Nations, as well as on Crown land.
