TNFC Seeking Feedback through Survey for Strategic Planning

Kamloops, BC – April 19, 2024 – The Thompson-Nicola Film Commission (TNFC) is in the process of creating a new 2024-2026 Strategic Plan, to set priorities and goals for future years that will advance filming in the Thompson-Nicola region. As part of this process, the TNFC is seeking public feedback through a short survey.

The survey will take respondents approximately 10 to 15 minutes, and the deadline to provide input is April 26, 2024. To access the survey, please complete the fillable PDF by clicking here. Once completed, please email your survey responses to Film Commissioner Terri Hadwin at thadwin@tnrd.ca.

This survey opportunity follows Strategic Plan workshops with film industry stakeholders, hosted by the TNFC on April 4 and 5, 2024. The purpose of these workshops was to gain deeper insights and feedback of what the TNFC’s strategic vision should be, including developing key performance indicators as markers for success. Following feedback from these meetings, the TNFC has completed a preliminary, high-level SWOT analysis (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats), and included notes in the survey for respondents to review before answering related questions.

The TNFC Strategic Plan 2024-2026 is expected to be drafted by the end of June 2024.
